Things have remained really slow on the aviation front for me. Despite all the family and ‘life’ distractions, one thing that I have been able to spend some time focusing on over the past few weeks has been the workshop build-out. I continue my snails pace efforts at trying to build myself a decent model and woodworking workshop. Progress is being made and I’ll report on my latest efforts here in FlyBoyz in the near future.
I did manage to get away for a few hours today to attend the annual Syracuse Model Aircraft Forum & Fly-In. The event seems to be a little bit scaled back from the last time I attended 2 years ago but it is still a good local display put on by several local model aviation clubs. Rather than get into a text description of what I saw today, I have put together a brief video which depicts some of the displays and activities at the Forum.
Enjoy the video!
