This past Saturday, I attended the first of the monthly launches that the Syracuse Model Rocket Club will be hosting throughout the Summer season at their launch site in Baldwinsville, NY.
The launches are held at a large hay farm with plenty of open space. The launch event was very well organized with lot’s of launch activity going on throughout the day. For those new to the hobby, the club offers free rockets and engines for the kids to fly plus use of their launch equipment. This is a great way to try out the hobby. The FlyBoyz Store was also there selling rockets for those interested in building their own dream space ship.
