One of the most popular posts on FlyBoyz has been the ‘Niagara Falls View From Quadcopter‘ post. Since posting that video, I have been looking for another DJI Phantom video that would be as dramatic and as impressive. I think I have found it! This video combines two of my great loves, aviation (via the Quadcopter) and trains, into one cinematic package.
I lived for 8 years in New Mexico and even though I knew about the Cumbres & Toltec Railroad, I never made it to Chama to ride this train. After watching this video, I just might have to make a return trip to the Land of Enchantment.
Daniel Luke Fitch was the pilot and aerial cinematographer for this video which was a 2013 DJI Phantom Grand Prize contest winner. The video was filmed from a DJI Phantom Aerial UAV Drone Quadcopter with a GoPro HERO3 Black Edition Camera at 1080/60p.
