I thought that this brief video was a wonderful demonstration of the kind of flying that is associated with rubber powered free flight models. This video was taken as part of a low-wing airplane mini-mass launch at the Flying Aces Club (FAC) Non-NATS held this past summer at Geneseo, New York. I went to the Geneseo event and while I was not present for this particular mini-mass launch, I did see many flights just like those shown in this video. I had no idea that rubber powered planes could achieve such flights and look so good doing it, but after spending a day at Geneseo…I was hooked!
